This was the source of inspiration for my assignment - the often underutilized potential of Chinese food containers. Few people know that the container can be opened and used as a plate, and few restaurants personalize their containers to make the brand more apparent. I tinkered with these ideas in my own packaging assignment. 

Here I have added a brand design to the outside package to make it more apparent which restaurant this take-out is from. I have also added a design detail to the packaging so that the four corners used for the lid can also be detached through perforation and combined to form a sauce pan for the soy sauce or vinegar that comes with some meals. And since chopsticks are typically given with each take-out container, this completes the set of utensils needed for a cheap Chinese take-out meal!
